London [UK], September 22: Another ship has been attacked in the Strait of Hormuz, in the second such incident to be reported on Monday. The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency, citing military sources, said earlier on Monday that a tanker entering The Gulf was struck by a projectile.
The organization posted on its website that "a tanker conducting an inbound transit was struck by an unknown projectile." Two crew members were slightly injured. The ship is reportedly en route to a nearby port. In the afternoon, the UKMTO reported a further incident in which a liquefied natural gas tanker is said to have been struck by an unknown projectile.
