Hanoi [Vietnam], August 29: Outperforming 7 other contestants, Tan Bao won the final of 'The Next Artist 2026'. This is the second championship title in the career of the young singer.
In the final competition night of The Next Artist 2026 , Tan Bao chose the song "Teu Mo Hoi," which he composed himself. The highlight of this song is the combination of modern music with the elements of water puppetry. On stage, the 10X singer transformed into the mischievous Teu character, exciting the judges with a performance that was rich in Vietnamese culture but still maintained a youthful and energetic spirit.
"With this project, choosing to bring the art form of water puppetry to the stage was a very difficult challenge. Because these performances are usually very long, and are limited on social media. I was lucky to choose a character that is characteristic of this stage," the male contestant revealed about his performance.
Dam Vinh Hung burst into tears because of Tan Bao.
Compared to when he won the previous music competition, Tan Bao showed a remarkable transformation at the age of 20. His performance moved Dam Vinh Hung to tears. The singer shared: "You are a very strong, courageous, and confident person. You are someone chosen by the patron saint of the profession, given the energy to achieve such wonderful things."
Through the performance, Hang Bingboong believes that Tan Bao's demanding nature will be a factor in helping him make significant progress and develop further. "I love his confidence on stage. He came here like he was just strolling around; everything happened so naturally. There are many people who work in traditional music , but the atmosphere he brings is so fresh, which I really like," she confided.
